Lot Description
A pair of portraits of a lady and a gentleman sitting in armchairs, 1st half of the 19th century. Oil on cardboard, size 28,6 x 23,7 cm (11 1/4 x 9 1/3 inches), frame dimensions 39,5 x 34,6 cm (15 1/2 x 13 2/3 inches). Illegible signature at the bottom on the female portrait.
Conditions
Good condition, according to age, without restoration. Color layer resistant. A small craquelure. Wooden gilt frames of the appropriate period.
