Abstract composition in the tradition of Washington Color School.
Meyer worked within the circle of Kenneth Noland, Morris Louis, Gene Davis, Thomas Downing and Leon Berkowitz.
Provenance: acquired directly from the artist on September 10, 1964, by Michael Davidson (b. 1902 - ?), London, as part of a group of 17 works
later in a private dealer’s collection.
Conditions
Good overall, minor traces of paint visible on the reverse have been partially reduced due to light cleaning, no impact on the front.
