Lot Description

Lot of two Empire chairs, circa 1830-40s. Walnut (solid wood, veneer), decorated with ormolu bronze and applied decorations of gilded bronze. Height 82 cm (32 1/4 inches), dimensions 47 x 42 cm (18 1/2 x 16 1/2 inches).

Conditions

Good condition. Sturdy construction. Signs of use. Bronze with well-preserved gilding. Fabric replaced.
