Lot Description
A sofa and two armchairs, the mid-19th century, Biedermeier. Wood (rosewood, veneer, solid wood) and bronze (casting, gilding, chasing). Dimensions of sofa: height 88 cm (34 2/3 inches), width and depth 190 x 67 cm (74 3/4 x 26 1/3 inches). Dimensions of armchair: height 81 cm (32 inches), width and depth 81 x 58 cm (32 x 22 3/4 inches).
Conditions
Good condition. High-quality bronze casting and bright gilding. All overlays are original. The fabric has been replaced. There are small chips in the wood and small signs of use.
