Boris Mikhailov (born 1938). Photography, wife of the author, 1980s. Size 24 x 18 cm (9 1/2 x 7 inches). Presented by the author to the current owner. (Ukrainian artist born 25 August 1938 in Kharkiv. Resides and works in Berlin. One of the most outstanding modern photo artists. He has won numerous prestigious international photo prizes, including the Hasselblad Foundation award. He is a guest artist at DAAD, Berlin, Germany and a visiting lecturer at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. Mikhailov's solo exhibitions were presented in the top art museums and institutions of Europe and America, including Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam
