Jerry McKeehan (1938-2022). City Sounds, 1980. Oil on canvas, size 110,5 x 91,5 cm (43 1/2 x 36 inches). Frame dimensions 116,5 x 95,5 cm (45 3/4 x 37 2/3 inches). Signed upper left. Titled and dated on the verso. (Jerry McKeehan, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was born in Boulder, Colorado, and received his B.A. with honors from Colorado State University in 1962. His formal education includes work under Clifford Still. Jerry has developed an energetic style combining his rich color palette and exciting compositions. Each painting contains a narrative force commanding attention. His art is the work of a seasoned talent with ageless appeal.
